Because the API returns real credentials for a real control panel, your agent isn’t limited to the calls above. With a site’s panel type and login, it can use cPanel’s or DirectAdmin’s own API for most of what a person does in the panel: DNS records, email, cron jobs, databases, files, SSL, and WordPress or static sites.
That makes a whole class of jobs scriptable. “Deploy these twenty domains, install WordPress on each, set their name servers, then report anything that failed” becomes one task you hand over and review, instead of an afternoon of logins. The API returns each site’s name servers, so an agent with API or MCP access to your registrar can set them in the same job. There’s no browser automation or shared master password: your API credentials are scoped to your account, and you can regenerate them at any time.
